Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners approved the First Amendment to a Land Exchange Agreement between Miami-Dade County and the District Board of Trustees of Miami-Dade College. The amendment modifies the original agreement, which involved the exchange of two parcels of land. The College Parcel, owned by Miami-Dade College (Folio No. 01-3135-106-0010, located at 1000 NW 2nd Avenue, Miami), totaling 48,102 square feet, is conveyed to the County for use by the Public Health Trust. In exchange, the County conveys the County Parcel, a portion of Folio No. 01-3135-061-0010 (located at 1851 NW 9th Avenue, Miami), totaling 48,456 square feet, to the College. Key changes in the amendment include removing the closing condition requiring the Public Health Trust to complete environmental remediation and obtain a No Further Action Letter, modifying environmental remediation provisions, adjusting the closing date definition, and establishing post-closing cooperation for information exchange.
