Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is considering a resolution to extend Prequalification Pool No. FB-01645P for Rail/Mover Parts and Services for the Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW). The proposed extension is for five years, adding $184,000,000.00 in expenditure authority, bringing the total modified cumulative pool amount to $297,621,000.00. This pool is crucial for maintaining the Metrorail and Metromover systems by providing access to specialized components, parts, and maintenance services. Outreach efforts have been conducted to identify additional qualified vendors, including those providing aftermarket parts. The Transportation Committee forwarded this item to the Board with a favorable recommendation.
