REMOVING ROW DESIGNATION NW 9 AVENUE AND BOB HOPE ROAD

Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) is considering a resolution to remove the public road right-of-way designation from a portion of county-owned property at the intersection of NW 9 Avenue and Bob Hope Road, south of NW 15 Street. This action is requested by the Department of Transportation and Public Works to enable the sale of the parcel to the University of Miami for future development. The removal is necessary because the segment of NW 9 Avenue adjacent to the parcel is also undergoing a road closing process with the City of Miami. The Transportation Committee forwarded this item to the BCC with a favorable recommendation. The BCC is scheduled to review this on July 21, 2026.
