Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is considering a resolution to remove the public road right-of-way designation from a portion of county-owned property located at the intersection of NW 9 Avenue and Bob Hope Road, south of NW 15 Street. This action is requested by the Department of Transportation and Public Works to allow the County to sell the land at full market value. The University of Miami seeks to acquire this parcel for future development, contingent on the approval of this resolution and a separate road closing petition by the City of Miami for the adjacent segment of NW 9 Avenue.
