Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is approving the award of Professional Services Agreements (PSAs) for Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services for federally and state funded projects. The total amount for these agreements is not to exceed $22,000,000.00 for a five-year term. Four firms have been recommended for award: AECOM Technical Services, Inc., BCC Engineering, LLC, EAC Consulting, Inc., and HNTB Corporation. These agreements are structured as capacity-based, multi-award contracts, with work orders issued on an as-needed basis. The services will support the Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) in administering, monitoring, and inspecting construction activities to ensure compliance with plans and specifications, manage project risks, and leverage specialized engineering expertise. Funding sources may include Federal Transit Administration, Florida Department of Transportation, Operating Fund, People's Transportation Plan Bond Program, and Mobility Impact Fees. Thirteen proposals were received, and the four highest-ranked firms were recommended for award after evaluation.
