Miami-Dade County is approving the award of Professional Services Agreements (PSAs) for General Engineering Consultants to CHA Consulting, Inc. and Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. The total amount for these agreements is not to exceed $28,600,000.00, inclusive of contingency, for a five-year term with a potential two-year renewal. These services will cover a wide range of engineering, surveying, architectural, landscaping, technical, management, and administrative tasks for projects within the Five-Year Implementation Plan of the People's Transportation Plan, including transit facility and park-and-ride improvements. The agreements are work order-driven and intended to provide flexible, as-needed support. The Transportation Committee forwarded this item to the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) with a favorable recommendation. Six proposals were received, and after evaluation, the two selected firms were chosen to forego Second Tier proceedings.
