Miami-Dade County is approving the award of Professional Services Agreements (PSAs) for General Engineering Consultants to CHA Consulting, Inc. and Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. The total amount for these agreements is not to exceed $28,600,000.00, inclusive of contingency, for a term of five years with a potential two-year renewal. These services will cover a wide range of engineering, surveying, architectural, landscaping, technical, management, and administrative tasks, supporting projects within the Five-Year Implementation Plan of the People's Transportation Plan. The agreements are work order-driven and intended to provide flexible, as-needed support. The Transportation Committee forwarded this item to the Board of County Commissioners (BCC) with a favorable recommendation. The project is countywide in nature. Funding sources include Mobility Impact Fees, Secondary Gas Tax, Quality Neighborhoods Improvement Program, Stormwater Utility, Operating Funds, and People's Transportation Plan funds. Six proposals were received, and after evaluation, CHA Consulting, Inc. and Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. were recommended for award.
