ILA FOR PROVISION OF ON-DEMAND SERVICES WITH DORAL

Miami-Dade County and the City of Doral are entering into an Interlocal Agreement for on-demand transportation services. The agreement, effective retroactively to December 23, 2025, will utilize the City of Doral's municipal share of Charter County Transportation System Surtax proceeds for operations and maintenance. The service, which began in April 2024 and is operated by Freebee using four Tesla Model X vehicles, provides stop-to-stop on-demand transit within and around Doral, connecting residents to key destinations up to a five-mile trip. The agreement has a five-year term with two five-year renewal options. The County's Board of County Commissioners is set to approve the agreement, with the County Mayor or designee authorized to execute it. The item is currently in committee.
