ILA FOR PROVISION OF ON-DEMAND SERVICES WITH DORAL

Miami-Dade County is considering an Interlocal Agreement with the City of Doral for on-demand transportation services. The agreement, effective retroactively to December 23, 2025, will utilize the City of Doral's municipal share of Charter County Transportation System Surtax proceeds for operation and maintenance. The service, which began in April 2024 and is operated by Freebee using four Tesla Model X vehicles, provides stop-to-stop on-demand transit within and around Doral, with a maximum trip length of five miles. The agreement has a five-year term with two five-year renewal options. The County's Board of County Commissioners is being asked to approve the agreement. The City of Doral adopted a resolution authorizing the agreement on August 13, 2025.
