This action is to establish prima facie evidence of County ownership for road purposes, pursuant to Florida Statutes. The Department of Transportation and Public Works (DTPW) has been maintaining this section of the right-of-way for over seven years, which includes roadway improvements such as milling, resurfacing, and pavement markings. The resolution authorizes the Chairperson and Clerk of the Board to certify the map and the County Mayor or designee to take necessary actions for its recordation. The Transportation Committee forwarded this item to the BCC with a favorable recommendation. There is no fiscal impact as the County is already maintaining the property, funded through DTPW's General Fund allocation.
