OFF-SYSTEM AGREEMENT FOR LOCAL ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS

Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners is considering approving an Off-System Construction and Maintenance Agreement with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) for local roadway improvements. The project, identified as Project No. FM452566-1-52-01, involves SR 934/NW 74th Street Connector from west of NW 77th Court to east of Red Road, including work on NW 74th Street Connector and NW 72nd Avenue. Specific improvements include sidewalk reconstruction, curb ramps, milling and resurfacing, widening, striping, and traffic separators. The project is estimated to cost $5,900,000, funded and built by FDOT, with an anticipated construction start date of March 2027. Miami-Dade County will be responsible for maintenance operations upon project completion.
