[St. Johns Avenue Corridor] The St. Johns Avenue Streetscape Improvement Project is an ongoing initiative to enhance pedestrian connectivity, accessibility, and aesthetics in the Central Business District. [Larimer Arts Center; case Resolution 2026-CRA-R-01] The Palatka Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is considering Resolution 2026-CRA-R-01 to commit $125,000 in previously budgeted CRA funds as part of the required local match for a Florida Department of State Cultural Facilities Grant. This grant is for critical roof repair and weatherproofing improvements at the Larimer Arts Center, a historic City-owned cultural facility within the CRA. The total estimated project cost is $624,000, with the grant covering up to $312,000. The remaining local match will be provided by the City through future appropriations. The project aligns with the CRA Plan by preserving a historic asset and supporting cultural programming. The Palatka Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) authorized the commitment of $125,000 from GL Account No. 030-30-580-6-6336 towards the local match for the Florida Department of State Cultural Facilities Grant for the Larimer Arts Center Repair and Weatherproofing Project. The City of Palatka will provide the remaining local match. The CRA Board reviewed and accepted the May and June 2026 financial reports, showing stable overall financial conditions with revenues exceeding expenditures year-to-date.
