The City of Clermont is planning to replace two 6,000-gallon bleach tanks. This project involves the removal of existing tanks and installation of new ones. Additionally, the city plans to replace the fire alarm system at City Hall with a new, addressable system. This work will involve electrical and low-voltage system contractors. The city is also considering piggybacking on existing contracts for reservoir environmental cleaning services, which includes vacuum cleaning and sludge removal for wastewater treatment. Another piggyback purchase is for three Freightliner grapple loader trucks for sanitation services. These projects are currently under review for bid award or contract approval. Local contractors, suppliers, and service providers in areas such as tank installation, electrical systems, specialized cleaning services, and vehicle supply may find opportunities.
