This document contains minutes from the April 15, 2026, and an agenda for the June 17, 2026, Town Center CRA Advisory Committee meetings. Several development projects are under review or have been approved. The Harbor Dental project at 865 Harbor Blvd. is in review for a 3,000 sq ft dentist office. The Indian Bayou West Subdivision plat has been released, allowing property owners to sell parcels. The Gulf Breeze Court quadplex, a four-townhome complex on Gulf Breeze Court off Gulf Shore Drive on Holiday Isle, was approved in March. The Destin Linear Trail project, intended to connect Airport Road and 98 Palms Blvd. to Jewel Melvin Park, has been withdrawn due to unprocured easements, though efforts will continue. City projects include the ongoing construction of Phase II of the Cross-Town Connector, procurement for the CTC Wayside Trail, construction of utility undergrounding from Marler Bridge to Airport Road, and design/permitting for the Airport/Commons Pedestrian Signal Upgrade. The committee is also discussing work plans for Capt. Jewel-Melvin Park upgrades and Florida Power & Light (FPL) undergrounding, with potential funding of approximately $30,000 from the electrical TIF or related fund for FPL undergrounding. Public comment was not recorded for the April meeting.
