Suntex Marina Investors, LLC is requesting to vacate a .46-acre right-of-way (ROW) located on the north side of Edwards Drive, running north to an existing parcel. This ROW is currently city-owned and adjacent to redevelopment parcels. The vacation is sought to allow for the full redevelopment of the Fort Myers Yacht basin, combining parcels so none are isolated from public ROW. This item is currently under review by the Planning Board. If approved, the vacation would enable future site development permits for the marina redevelopment. This process could eventually lead to site clearing, grading, utility work, and construction related to the marina's redevelopment.
