The City of Jacksonville Beach Board of Adjustment approved a variance for BOA#26-100026 for a single-family home at 1812 Ocean Dr. The variance allows for a front yard setback of 18 feet (instead of 20 feet), a rear yard setback of 12 feet (instead of 20 feet), and a maximum lot coverage of 48% (instead of 45%). The hardship cited was a nonconforming lot. The motion was moved by Mr. Metz and seconded by Mr. Hawkett, passing 5-1. The next meeting is scheduled for May 19, 2026.
