The City of Jacksonville Finance Committee is reviewing the budget for the Neighborhoods Department and the Mosquito Control State Fund. Mr. Peterson presented the budget details for both. During the Neighborhoods Department budget discussion, CM Diamond and other committee members spoke in support of Al Ferraro, manager of Blight Initiatives, and suggested a pay increase for him. The committee has made no recommendations on these budget items at this time. As these are budget hearings, the specific scope of work and phases are not yet detailed.
