Groundwork Jacksonville is advancing the Emerald Trail Project, specifically focusing on the McCoy's Creek Restoration. This project involves natural stream design, floodplain expansion, daylighting a buried creek, and widening and raising bridges at King and Stockton Streets. The work aims to reduce flooding by two feet and remove homes and businesses from flood risk.
