The Land Use & Zoning Committee of the City of Jacksonville met to review zoning matters. Several development proposals are under review that could create future business opportunities. These include a commercial retail space at Main Street and Central Avenue, a mixed-use development at 123 Main Street, a 150-unit residential project near Main Street and River Road, and a mixed-use building near Main Street and Bay Street. Opportunities may arise for site preparation, utility work, concrete, paving, framing, roofing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, landscaping, and building material suppliers.
