The Transportation, Energy & Utilities Committee of the City of Jacksonville met to discuss several upcoming projects. Potential work for local contractors, trades, suppliers, and service providers includes a new development in Duval, traffic signal upgrades at Main Street and Bay Street, and infrastructure improvements in Duval. Other opportunities involve additional funding for the Springfield Cleanup Corps Program, support for the 2026 Ironman Jax Event and Jax Jazz Festival, and updates to towing regulations. Finally, a rezoning for a Boat & RV Storage Facility on Pulaski Road may offer opportunities in site preparation, concrete, paving, utility installation, and building materials.
