The City of Kissimmee Police Pension Board met on May 5, 2026, to discuss the forfeiture of retirement benefits for Andrew Baseggio. The Board reviewed the process for forfeiture of retirement benefits, noting that Andrew Baseggio's crimes constitute a "specified offense" under Florida Statutes 112.3173(2)(e) 4 and 6. He was a public employee who committed felony battery, tampering with a witness, and official misconduct. Having pled guilty, his rights, privileges, and benefits under the Plan must be forfeited. The Board was informed that Baseggio had already received $35,461.12 plus $4,358.70 for his share allocation, totaling $39,819.82. The Board was advised that Baseggio has three weeks to respond by April 17, 2026, to provide any objections. The Board will address this during the May 5, 2026, pension meeting. The Board voted 3-0 to approve mailing the Notice of Agency Action for Proposed Forfeiture to Andrew Baseggio. The Board also discussed recovering an overpayment, which might be a de-minimus amount.
