A project is planned that involves the installation of approximately 1,350 linear feet of 12-inch polyvinyl chloride (PVC) sewer pipe using an open cut method. This initial phase will also include ten new manholes, four 8-inch PVC sewer stub outs, and associated service laterals and cleanouts. This project is currently in the planning stages, funded by a grant received by the Owner for Phase 1. The scope of work for this phase includes site preparation for trenching, underground utility installation for the sewer system, and connection points. Future phases may involve additional work, but this item focuses solely on the planned Phase 1 sewer system installation. Local contractors, suppliers, and service providers in site preparation, underground utilities, and concrete work are encouraged to engage early to understand the project's development before final site plans, bids, and permits are established, which could offer a competitive advantage.
