The City of Pensacola is moving forward with the disposition of the former Alice S. Williams Library building located at 1015 North E Street. This project aims to establish and operate a high-quality infant childcare program for children under one year of age. The project is currently under review, with a public hearing scheduled for April 23, 2026, and proposed lease agreements to be presented for approval in May. The work will involve the restoration of the building, followed by the establishment and operation of the childcare facility.
