The Eastside Redevelopment Board is reviewing several projects for future funding and implementation. These include affordable housing developments at 2700 MLK Jr. Drive and 1700 MLK Jr. Drive, along with a general affordable housing initiative. Other projects under consideration involve residential property improvements, a residential resiliency program for storm damage repair, and sidewalk improvements guided by redevelopment plans and an ADA accessibility study. Additionally, a strategy to transform the Crystal Ice House and its parking lot into an outdoor market is being reviewed. The Hollice T. Williams Urban Greenway project will involve stormwater and greenway improvements. These projects are currently in the planning, design, or implementation phases.
