The Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) of Titusville is reviewing findings on pedestrian and bicycle amenity gaps within the CRA boundary. The review confirms a strong pedestrian framework and regional trail connections but notes uneven distribution of amenities like benches, lighting, and trash receptacles. Key gaps exist in trailheads, informational signage, shade, water access, bicycle repair stations, and activity nodes. The proposed plan aims to address these gaps by creating a distributed network of Base Nodes, Enhanced Nodes, and Trail Hubs across all districts. This project is currently under review. Work could involve site preparation, installation of various amenities such as benches, lighting, signage, and gathering spaces, and potentially landscaping. Contractors, suppliers, and service providers in site prep, general construction, electrical, plumbing, and landscaping could find opportunities. Early engagement is advised as plans and permits are developed.
