The City of Winter Park is planning transportation safety and mobility improvements at the intersection of Fairbanks Avenue and Denning Drive. This project involves the donation of land from properties located at 805 and 801 W. Fairbanks Avenue, along with a triangular parcel extending to 771 W. Fairbanks Avenue. The goal is to create a westbound left-hand turn lane. The City and/or FDOT will cover all costs for infrastructure removal and replacement, as well as any work needed on the donated property. Until the turn lane is built, DI Partners will handle landscaping and maintenance of the donated area. This project will likely involve site clearing, grading, underground utility work, and paving. Local contractors, suppliers, and service providers are encouraged to engage early to understand the project scope and potential opportunities before final plans and permits are established.
