The Collier Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is planning to update its Long Range Transportation Plan to the year 2055. This project involves evaluating current plans and programs for consistency with the 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan. The update will integrate FAST Act performance measures and work with various MPO tasks, including administration, data collection, and transit. Key activities include reviewing projects for consistency with MPO plans, incorporating the Efficient Transportation Decision Making process, and attending relevant meetings. Consultant assistance will be used for modeling support, data development, and evaluation. The project is currently planned, with base year data collection targeted for 2028 and revenue projections also by 2028. This initiative will require services in transportation planning, data analysis, modeling, and potentially GIS support.
