The Board of County Commissioners of DeSoto County met to discuss upcoming projects. Several developments are under review, including a 150-unit residential project at County Road 760 and County Road 108, and a commercial development at US 17 and County Road 664. Other planned projects include a light industrial development near County Road 760 and County Road 764, a commercial project at County Road 760 and County Road 17, and a commercial shopping center near County Road 760 and County Road 762.
