The DeSoto County Special Masters met to review several development proposals. Several projects are planned for residential and commercial use. These include a 120-home development near US 17 and County Road 664, a 10-home development near County Road 664 and County Road 760, and commercial developments near US 17 and County Road 662. These projects could create work for land clearing, utility installation, home building, and material supply companies.
