The Board of County Commissioners met to discuss upcoming projects and development plans. Several new developments are under review, including a 100-unit residential project near Cortez Boulevard and Linden Drive, and commercial projects at the intersection of County Road 550 and U.S. 19, and at County Road 491 and State Road 50. The Board also approved a project to realign Explorer Boulevard for improved school bus access and a Master Plan Revision for commercial development on Commercial Way.
