[West side of Sylvania Plantation Road, approximately 0.55 miles north-west of the intersection of Sylvania Plantation Road and Fort Road] The Towers LLC is seeking approval to construct a 255-foot Wireless Telecommunications Facility with a 10-foot lighting rod on property leased from Quinton and Janette Anglin. The proposed tower will be located on the west side of Sylvania Plantation Road, approximately 0.55 miles northwest of the intersection of Sylvania Plantation Road and Fort Road in unincorporated Jackson County. The Planning Commission recommended approval on May 4, 2026, and the Board of County Commissioners is expected to review and approve. The project is on a 94.1-acre parcel, with the tower occupying approximately 10,000 square feet. The future land use is Agriculture 2 and Public. The applicant is The Towers LLC, with James McNicol as the contact person. The Board of County Commissioners approved the development order on May 26, 2026.
