The Lake County Water Authority (LCWA) is seeking legal services for its operations. The selected firm will need to respond promptly to the LCWA Board of Trustees and Executive Director, communicate clearly, and maintain confidentiality according to professional rules and Florida law. Attorneys assigned must have experience with local, county, or public sector representation and be licensed by The Florida Bar. Services are to be provided efficiently and cost-consciously, with written status reports, meeting attendance, and advance approval for major litigation strategy, outside experts, or unusual expenses required. This item is currently under review by the Water Authority. The work will involve legal research, strategy development, and representation related to public sector decision-making. Local law firms with expertise in government and public sector law are encouraged to express interest early in the process, before final agreements are set.
