The Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-655-26, approving the award of Contract No. EVN0028376, the Concourse K Concession Program at Miami International Airport, to OTG MIA Venture, LLC. The contract is for the development and management of 17 retail and food and beverage concession spaces encompassing approximately 19,073 square feet in the upcoming Concourse K. The projected revenue is $62,200,000 for an initial 11-year term (two years for construction and nine years for operations) and one, one-year option to renew. The concessionaire will provide financing, design, leasing, tenant coordination, construction, and property management. The estimated positive fiscal impact for the initial 11-year term is $55,800,000. The vendor is a joint venture partnership of OTG Concessions Management (50%) and KFIT F&B Holdings II, LLC (50%). The RFP was issued on August 5, 2025, and closed on November 17, 2025, with four proposals received. Three proposals were deemed non-responsive by the County Attorney's Office on December 22, 2025, for failing to submit a revenue proposal. The responsive proposal was evaluated on January 9, 2026, and January 21, 2026. Negotiations ran from February 27, 2026, to May 5, 2026. The concourse is expected to open in 2030. The item was forwarded to the Board with a favorable recommendation by the Aviation and Seaport Committee on July 13, 2026, and adopted by the Board on July 21, 2026.
