Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners approved a resolution authorizing the execution of a Fiscal Year 2025-26 contract with the State of Florida Department of Health. The total program cost is $87,580,952, with $51,015,587 from the State of Florida and $36,565,365 in local contributions, including the County's $1,133,000 cash contribution from Jackson Health System. The contract covers public health services countywide, including environmental health, disease control, and care for special populations.
