Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution R-559-26 (File Number 261092) on June 16, 2026, approving a ground lease between Miami-Dade County (landlord) and Jessie Trice Community Health System, Inc. A community engagement meeting was held on July 2, 2025, by the Commissioner of District 2, including residents, community and advocacy groups, the NW 79th Street Corridor Community Redevelopment Agency, and the NW 7th Avenue Corridor Community Redevelopment Agency.
