Miami-Dade County Board of County Commissioners adopted a Resolution approving a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with Wingerter Laboratories, Inc. as part of a pool of architectural and engineering consultants. Wingerter will provide professional construction materials testing services for the Miami-Dade Aviation Department at Miami International Airport. The contract, number E24AV03E, has a combined maximum amount of $41,353,125.00 for a term of five years with one five-year renewal option. This is one of five agreements awarded to a pool of consultants for these services. The services include construction material testing, asphalt and concrete testing, geotechnical exploration, soil and foundation testing, materials testing, and roof testing and consulting. The work will be assigned via service orders and on a rotational basis among the pool of consultants. No minimum work is guaranteed to any single firm. The project is part of the Miami International Airport's ongoing modernization efforts, which have expanded its capital plan to $12 billion.
