The improvements may include installation and operation of these technologies adjacent to guardhouses. The original ordinance established a safety and sentinel security service with an unarmed uniformed guard, potentially upgraded to off-duty police officers, operating from a guardhouse. The guardhouse construction and gate installation are capital improvements to be furnished by the homeowners association.
