STD AMENDING ORDINANCE 93-5 COVENTRY

Miami-Dade County adopted an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 93-5 to allow the Coventry Security Guard Special Taxing District to use license plate readers or other updated visitor management technology to document vehicles entering and exiting the district. The amendment was adopted on final action on June 2, 2026, after a first reading on May 5, 2026. The improvements and services within the district, which previously included a security guard and guardhouse, may now also include this technology. The guardhouse is located on N.E. 198th Terrace, west of N.E. 18th Avenue. The homeowners association is responsible for the construction of the guardhouse and installation of gates.
