Ordinance granting the petition of Acacia Grove Community Development District to expand its boundaries by approximately 9.88 acres, increasing total acreage from approximately 38.57 acres to 48.45 acres. The district is generally bounded on the north by SW 336 Street, on the east by SW 192 Avenue, on the south by SW 340 Street, and on the west by SW 197 Avenue (Richard Road). The expansion adds 106 additional villa units, bringing the total to 350 residential units. Infrastructure costs for the expansion are approximately $6.737 million. The petition was filed on May 4, 2026. The ordinance was adopted on first reading on September 1, 2026, and set for a public hearing on October 6, 2026. The staff recommendation is to adopt the ordinance. The district is located in Commission District 9. The expansion will extend district assessments to property owners in the expanded area. A Declaration of Restrictive Covenants has been submitted. The filing fee was $1,500.00 and $9,000.00 was paid for future advertising costs. The ordinance will become effective 10 days after enactment unless vetoed by the Mayor.
