Resolution designating a portion of Miami-Dade County-owned property as public road right-of-way for West Evergreen Street east of Duval Avenue and Duval Avenue south of West Evergreen Street in Section 32, Township 55 South, Range 40 East. The designation is needed to comply with Perrine Community Urban Center (PECUC) zoning requirements for the redevelopment of the adjacent Perrine Apartments I project. The right-of-way is for West Evergreen Street from Duval Avenue east for approximately 363 feet and for Duval Avenue from West Evergreen Street south for approximately 140 feet. The estimated annual maintenance cost is $100. The Transportation Committee forwarded to the BCC with a favorable recommendation on 9/9/2026. The Board of County Commissioners agenda date is 10/6/2026. The resolution authorizes the County Mayor or designee to take all actions necessary to effectuate the designation. The existing right-of-way width is 25 feet, and an additional two feet is required. The original right-of-way was dedicated in 1904 by the plat of MAP OF PERRINE, recorded in Plat Book B, Page 79. In 1974, an additional 5 feet was dedicated by the plat of PERRINE GARDENS SUBDIVISION NO. 2, recorded in Plat Book 100, Page 30.
