The Board of County Commissioners, Orange County met to discuss several upcoming projects. Potential business opportunities exist for local contractors and suppliers related to a new water treatment plant south of SR 528 and east of Narcoossee Road. Other projects under review include a convention center expansion near the Orange County Convention Center, a new development at Oak Street and Maple Avenue with 150 dwelling units, and a new bus depot at Orange Avenue and Gore Street. Additional opportunities may arise from a new development at State Road 535 and Conroy Road, and a new library planned near Orange Avenue and Main Street.
