B. County and Municipal Coordination

The Pasco County MPO is planning to coordinate with county and municipal departments to align planning efforts with MPO plans and programs. This includes updates to the land use comprehensive plan and ensuring consistency with the MPO's Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP). The project also involves assisting with planning streets that align with FDOT's Complete Streets guidelines and establishing standards for collector road spacing and connectivity. Additionally, land use will be integrated with future roadway plans. This initiative is currently under review and is planned to occur between July 2024 and June 2026. The scope of work will involve planning, policy development, and research. This early stage presents an opportunity for local contractors, trades, suppliers, and service providers to engage with the MPO and its partners to understand upcoming needs and potentially secure future work before detailed plans and bids are finalized.
