The Pasco County Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is planning its Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) for Fiscal Years 2027 and 2028. This program outlines various transportation planning activities and tasks. The MPO will be procuring necessary equipment, furniture, software, and services. They will also be developing and updating administrative plans and programs, including compliance with federal and state regulations. Additionally, the MPO will manage and develop agreements and contracts for planning consultants and grant funding. This work is currently under review and planned for execution between July 2026 and June 2028. The scope includes general administration, program development, federal and state core requirements, and specific planning activities like developing strategic plans, right-of-way verification, and supporting regional transit planning. Local contractors, suppliers, and service providers are encouraged to engage early to understand the MPO's needs for equipment, software, administrative support, and professional services as plans are finalized.
