The Pasco MPO is planning to undertake several performance management initiatives related to the transportation system. These activities, scheduled from July 2026 through June 2028, include developing and analyzing land use and demographic data, collecting and analyzing data on the transportation system, and updating inventories of sidewalks and non-motorized facilities. The plan also involves preparing maps and reports, studying traffic signal retiming, analyzing TSMO strategies, conducting traffic counts, creating an emerging mobility plan, and performing field safety audits. This work is currently under review as part of the MPO's Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP). The scope involves data collection, analysis, reporting, and studies, which will likely require services for data management, GIS mapping, traffic engineering, and planning support. Local contractors, suppliers, and service providers are encouraged to engage early to understand the upcoming needs before formal bidding processes begin.
