The City of Ocala Audit Committee met to review financial reports and pending proposals. Two potential civic projects were discussed. One is a planned development near SE 17th Street and SE 36th Avenue with 200 dwelling units, which could involve land clearing, grading, civil engineering, surveying, utility work, concrete, paving, framing, roofing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, landscaping, and building material supply. Another proposal for a public works facility in the same area may also offer future opportunities.
