The Community Redevelopment Area Agency Board of the City of Ocala met to discuss upcoming projects and grants. Two new mixed-use developments are under review, one at SW 10th Street and SW 1st Avenue, and another at SW 27th Avenue and SW 17th Street, which could involve civil engineers, surveyors, utility contractors, concrete and paving companies, framers, roofers, electricians, plumbers, HVAC installers, landscapers, and building material suppliers. The board also approved a Commercial Property Improvement Grant for 343 NE First Avenue and is reviewing a Residential Property Improvement Grant for 2052 SW Second Street.
