Miami-Dade County is seeking to extend Contract No. 6938-2/22 for Garbage Collection and Disposal Services for multiple County departments. The proposed extension is for three years, with an additional expenditure authority of $19,411,303.00, bringing the total modified cumulative amount to $81,897,586.00. This extension is intended to provide sufficient time for the Department of Solid Waste Management (DSWM) to transition these services from contracted vendors to in-house operations.
