The City of Cocoa Board of Adjustment considered a waiver request for A1 Home Center LLC at 1066 Clearlake Road. The request sought to increase the maximum permitted number of attached signs from one to eleven and to increase the maximum allowable area of attached signs from 20% to 25% of the surface area to which they are attached. Staff recommended approval, finding the waiver would not increase congestion, fire danger, or substantially diminish property values, and would be in harmony with the Comprehensive Plan. Conditions of approval included that any further increase in sign quantity or size would require an additional waiver. The agenda item was postponed from the April 15, 2026 meeting to the May 20, 2026 meeting.
