The Environmental Advisory Board (EAB) is considering a grant request from Canopy Restoration Inc. for $5,400 to fund the Canopy Restoration Project Tree Planting 2026. This project aims to restore the city's tree canopy by planting trees in the right-of-way, within 20 feet of the ROW, or in City parks. The grant is limited to 50% of the project cost, up to $5,500. The City Arborist has reviewed the request and found it to be in compliance. A similar project was completed in 2025. The EAB will make a recommendation to City Council regarding the funding. The meeting agenda also includes an Oath of Office for new and reappointed members and approval of previous meeting minutes.
