3. Bond Project Update

The City of Port Orange is moving forward with several bond-funded park projects. Willow Run and City Center expansion projects are nearing completion in the design phase, with about 90% of the design done and awaiting final electrical additions and comments. White Place Park is about 20% designed. Depot Park design is also underway, and Coraci renovations are in progress. These projects will involve site clearing and grading, underground utility work, paving, vertical construction, and final landscaping. The city is also seeking ECHO grant funding to expand these bond resources. Local contractors, trades, suppliers, and service providers should reach out now to learn more about these projects as they progress through design and toward bidding and permitting, as early engagement can provide a competitive advantage.
